This is a song I started working on back in September after my mom was diagnosed with a soon to be life ending illness. The chorus comes from that. Then with the verses I made it a story that fits a little of my life and others about my age. The guitar parts just came to me one day while I was getting ready to record another song. I added Cajon and then decided a little harmonica would be a nice touch. And then I did something I thought I would never do in a song, but to me it just fit the sing, so I did it with the chorus

This is a series of recordings where I am recording all acoustic instruments and it's meant to be a little informal and imperfect like a jam session at a local pub or someones house.
