Anyone having long wait times on new guitar orders?
I ordered a left landed entry level Epiphone guitar for one of my sisters a few months ago through Sweetwater, and the manufacturer keeps pushing the delivery date back. Apparently it's due to decreased or stopped production during Covid 2020.
I'm not bent out of shape about it, but wondered if anyone else is running into this?

Yes , I have a guitar back ordered as well - very hard to be patient , but im hanging in their. Their a good company and im sure their doing everything they can to help-

Yes, and it is not only on ordered items but on off the shelf items too. Two big reasons, one, most manufacturing was shut down for a while during the lockdowns and two, there was an increase in people buying guitars to learn during lockdown. There may be a glut of guitars coming onto the market in the next few months from people who have given up trying to learn. We shall see.

I waited months for an Epiphone Riviera and I'm currently waiting 8 months for an amp I ordered back in October. We can be patient or order something else.

As I indicated in my op I'm not bent out of shape about it, just wondered how many other people are dealing with delays.
