Hangin' with the big boys!

That's obviously a dread on the left and a GS Mini on the right, to give an idea of quite teeny X7 size,
although it is a half inch (?) longer scale with a 1.3/4" nut

Sounds a lot bigger, been giving it a good thrashing for half an hour or so, strings settling in nicely .

Yippee ! A lovely mug AND a guitar bag ! I can't see how it can get much better than this .

Keen observers may spot a hidden dog in the second pic .... Apart from the Emerald logos.
Congrats Jon! BTW, love the Spyderco UK as well.

Congratulations on the new guitar. I found the 3rd dog you mentioned, curious guy, doesn't seem like he makes much of a fuss.

Yeah , he's my neighbour's dog, Bronson (great name) half huskie , half who knows, bit of Shepherd in there ?
I'll try and take a good pic of him, but it is difficult thru the tightly slatted fence, especially with an iPad (my only camera at the mo.)
I don't have a dog myself, but I do buy Bonio biscuits, just for Bronson...I guess I'm a little bit in love.

First of all: congrats! That is a lovely X7. Almost looks burgandy with red highlights... very striking.

And second: you have a cat named Molly! Before sweet Isabella, there was Molly the boat cat. She was a large girl, but beautiful to me. I still miss her everyday; even wrote a book about our travels with her (Cat On A Leash). Like your Molly, she had an "M" on her forehead. Dang, I may have to be nice to you, now.

A bit of unsolicited advice: if you need any boat-work done and feel the need to barter that out with a guitar, I suggest you re-think that consideration.

Very happy that you are, once again, an X7 owner!

In my house, the cats (both tabbies these days) are usually far more interested in the empty box than in the guitar.....

That's the difference between cats and dogs. The cats might be satisfied with a box but in our house, the dog wants something a bit more comfy.

BTW, that's a mighty fine looking guitar Jon.

You're going to have to put some holes in that case to use it as a pet carrier.

PS. I hesitate to call it a "custom build" but it has had a small factory modification that I have not shown yet !

Keen students of my teachings may be able to guess what it is.

More later ,,, Nighty night !

I don't see an endpin jack, so I guess no pickup...yet. Maybe prepped for a future k&k?
