i like the red, too.

not too thrilled with the whole shark thing... sharks just don't say guitars to me.

btw, a 12 fret 00? maybe 1 3/4" nut, no v neck? if you do one of those, i'll definitely have to come check it out.

I do like the red rosette, and could live with the sharks!

Any thoughts of making the electronics optional? Probably not for this run of limiteds, and I know most these days would like the electronics. I'm enjoying my OM w/o - am taking it on its first camping trip this weekend, with rain, heat, and wind threatening, and I am having no worries about my guitar for once!

Andy, we do have a price now, I'll post an ad in the Marketplace with details asap.

Patti, if/when Ashvin decides to build a 00 12-fret you will probably have to stand in line to get in to my store to try one.

Phil, over 90% of the folks who buy Rainsong prefer it to have electronics but if this run works out, and I can't see why it wouldn't, you can bet we will have other versions.

Ted, if that indeed happens, I'd like to recommend you have an AGF party at your shop so we can all come and play with your Rainsongs.

JD
PS - please do let me know when some of these customs come in. I'm loving my S-OM more and more every day.

Put me down for an OM1000, original slim neck (don't like the N2), short scale, 12 fret.

I think the Taylor GS Mini and the Taylor 12-Fret GC would make fantastic carbon guitars. Both with slotted headstock of course and Concert Series tops.
