Default Gruhn Custom Martin 0-15 MS 12 Fret SOLD

Purchased new from Gruhn’s earlier this year. Wonderful sounding 12 fret Mahogany Single 0 Cutaway. List was $ I’m moving this as I’m knee deep in Mahogany including a 00-17 Authentic, so this is not getting played. Unlike most 15 series this Single 0 has a 25.4 fretboard which is Ebony. The bridge is also Ebony. The full length fretboard does wonders for the low end. Width at nut is 1 3/4 with string spacing of 2 1/4. Cash price on this is $ shipped and PayPaled CONUS.

great guitars, I have a non cutaway version, wonderful sound. The MLO neck is nice and there is no PA taper so the 12th fret is wide as the saddle spacing at 2-1/4

...the body's on the 0-15MS Customs are a true Mahogany, as I called to ask. Now, whether that means Sipo, African Mahogany, or Honduran/SA Mahogany...your guess is as good as mine. But, he said it was NOT Sapele, which is a fine tonewood. My 000-15SM is all Sapele and sounds very, very nice. Another purveyor of custom 0-15S's told me his are Sipo back and sides and either Honduran or African Mahogany on the top. Gruhn's could be the same, maybe, as the top of this example looks less striped.

The paperwork that came with the guitar indicates it has Sipo back and sides and "Genuine Mahogany" top. Sipo is closer to Honduran/Cuban in hardness then Sapele, so maybe that's why Martin used it on these "custom" shop instruments. The case is really, really good, and I'm already glad it has a cutaway. The scale is slightly shorter then standard at 25.3. Very comfy on the couch. Thanks for the quick shipping, Torrey!
