Default Checking on Eastman finish

I have seen many of the "older" Eastman acoustics with finish crazing/checking (not sure on correct woodworker term--surface cracks in ceramic glaze is called crazing). I have purchased an Eastman dreadnaught that--because FedEx left it in a cold truck--has some minor checking.
Will these cracks in the finish be prone to running further? Any additional precautions now that I know this guitar has the bad formula finish?

I have seen some new (approx 1-2 yr old eastmans) with serious checking.

It is what it is. The joys of painting with nitro

Some people like it some just hate it.

Not likely to increase unless you subject it to thermal shock again.
