Looking for a Hoffman 00
I'm interested in finding a used 00 built by Charlie Hoffman. Only interested in his 14 fret long scale.

Hoffman's aren't overly common, but even so I was contacted by a couple of AGFers regarding theirs. They weren't the match I'm hoping to find so continue to search.

Hi Chuck, I continue my search for a Hoffman 00 12 fret.
Biding my time. Thought the reverb listing a tad on the high side too. Do you know what Dream Guitars had it listed for? There's a 80's series 2 Hoffman guitar at Spruce Tree that needs a neck reset. Not sure when it will be offered for sale......

Hey Jim,
In case you didn't know, Charlie Hoffman is no longer building but his son Gabriel has taken over. He is currently continuing to build in Charlie's tradition (same shop, models, molds, etc). He builds in batches, as Charlie did, but due to other work the new guitars have been slow to complete. The next batch is anticipated to be done late summer/fall and there is one 00 in the batch (14 fret, short scale, EIR, Adi). Hopefully I'll get a chance to play that one if I don't find a used one before then. I did pass on a used 14 fret, long scale, Cocobolo and Sitka. Let me know if you might have an interest in it.
