Default Molly Tuttle

I've respected her as a player since I first heard her, but I had no idea she was such a good teacher as well. I've seen lessons like this before (Wildwood Flower) but I don't think I've ever seen it explained so simply and concisely.

Molly Tuttle is a remarkable guitarist and musician - one of my favorites.

I think I started crosspicking with a lesson of hers in print form about three years ago. Her dad was an instructor, if IÂ’m not mistaken, and youÂ’re right, she is great at teaching and playing.

Musically, her chops are far better than Billy Strings.

Both exceedingly talented, but I definitely prefer her songwriting and her work seems more intricate and innovative. Billy Strings is pretty incredible, and I love his attack, but when I read his transcriptions (I can only play his stuff at 75% speed on my best days), it all largely looks familiar. When I hear/watch Molly Tuttle play (I can't play her fast stuff at full speed either), I usually see something very different from what I'm used to seeing.

Yes, her father is Jack Tuttle (https://www.jacktuttle.com/) and he might be the most well-known bluegrass instructor in the bay area. Certainly a local legend of sorts, there's a huge bluegrass community in northern California.

Yes. I 've watched some amazing kids from the bluegrass schools.
