Default Learning New Pieces

I want to ask this forum if a new folder called "Songs" or "Pieces" or "Learning" could be created and then use that new area for posts that are always titled "Song name" and we could use the threaded posts to help each other with all things internet, Soundcloud links, texts, pictures, video, whatever ... so that a few of us could learn the same piece at the same time and swap whatever makes the learning process faster.

E.g. I just learned Kicky by Jerry Reed and I'm getting ready to finish learning The Claw. I've found one YouTube with Jerry Reed, but the others are not quite correct. Once I figure this out, I would like to share here.

I'm a computer scientist (software professional) so I think the benefit of the folder just for song-titled posts would be perfect for us to go to and then whoever knows what secrets can share.

I've been learning song arrangements in preparation to start playing publicly again and this is where each of us can share and learn. We "could" reduce the Google hunt for learning new material.

Tell me what you think. And, if an administrator picks up on this please, join in.

I'll recap my proposal here with numbered items:

1. Who ever wants to learn something together with others here, create a new post with title that is "the song title".
2. Admin, create us a folder just for these specific "Song" posts.
3. Whoever is interested, work together and learn the "Song" for the post and document what was learned.

Thanks,

David

Doesn't the "Show and Tell" subforum (http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...splay.php?f=20) fulfill this requirement?

It does. I'll put some pieces in there and see if others want to learn them with me.

Thanks,

David
