My performance of Al Pettaway's lovely Rebecca's Waltz played on my Kostal OMC. Thanks for taking a listen.

Well played Bob! Pretty melody on a nice sounding Kostal, a brand I'm not familiar with.
Going to check them out.

Wow, Bob!

Good for you! This is a piece I am very familiar with, having done a video on this a few years back. That piece sounds wonderful on your Kostal OMC. Wonderful depth for an OM!!!

And it's wonderful to hear your playing advance to new levels! Wonderful job on this, Bob!

Is this a new recording? This recording is in mono or at least has been highly panned to center. You will get a much better sound with stereo recordings.

Thanks so much Glenn. I think I’m finally getting a handle also on controlling my breathing to where it does not sound like there’s a snorting donkey in the room!

I recorded this with a spaced pair consisting of an SDC mic and an LDC mic. When I set the mics up in the DAW, I did it with both mics going into one track set up as a stereo recording. There is only one pan adjustment on the track and it is set to the center. This is the first time I have tried this. Usually I set up with each mic in the spaced pair on separate tracks as a mono input but one is panned left and one is panned right to create the stereo effect.

Thanks for the feedback Derek.

Output is mono. If I remember correctly from the Recording section of the forum you have this happen often.

Then I’m screwing up something in my DAW setup. I’ll need to look into that. Thanks again.

In a moment I will start a thread in the Recording part of the forum:

Take a look.
