When’s a banjo not a banjo?
When it’s a gourd banjo! Which is still a banjo. Just forget I said anything.
Anyway here’s me playing one, just on the off-chance that anyone’s interested. That is all. Well actually, it isn’t. There’s loads of stuff on my channel, so feel free to look at it and like and share and so on and so forth. Nobody ever took up the banjo to get rich, but appreciation is always gratefully received. And some of the videos on YouTube are terrible! I mean, have you seen them? 12M views for a photoshopped shark picture and some AI commentary? Gimme a break… Last edited by CosmicCowboy; 08-11-2021 at 01:08 PM. |

A banjo is not a banjo when it can't clear a room.

Ha, that reminds me of an old joke:
What's the difference between a banjo and an anchor? You tie a rope to an anchor. Ithankyou. |

When’s a banjo not a banjo?
When you still have an audience after the third song...

A gourd banjo is definitely a banjo, maybe even moreso than a brass tone ringed bluegrass banjo since it is back to the roots of early banjos.
To my mind, a banjo is not a banjo when it has a wooden soundboard instead of a vibrating membrane of some sort. |
