Default SOLD Goodall TROM (Now available in USA or Canada)

Sold!

Goodall TROM from 2002 (Built in Hawaii). (I had written 2005 here, which was wrong. Thanks to Mr. Paul for helping out!)
Asking price **** USD, Trade value **** USD.

Pics available on Reverb listing:
https://reverb.com/item/29244778-goo...ood-adirondack

The guitar is in fantastic shape, with a couple marks in the finish, but I can't find anything that couldn't be polished out. There is a bit of noticable fret wear, but there is still loads, and loads of fret left. Nothing is needed. The action is perfect, at around 2.3mm on the low E, and there is more room for adjustment if needed in the future.

I'd be more than happy to examine the guitar on skype with a potential buyer.

Specs:
Indian rosewood back/sides
Adirondack spruce top
14-fret OM body
Maple binding
Herringbone top trim and rosette
Ebony bridge, fretboard, and headplate
1 3/4" nut
2 1/4" spacing
25.5" scale*

I'm generally very intersted in trade offers for other higher end acoustic guitars, though I have just bought another guitar that I will be picking up in the USA during my trip, and I'm not sure about travelling home with two guitars. Send me your trade offers - for the right guitar I will make something happen!

Might be willing to add some cash for the right guitar. Feel free to contact me with suggestions.

best to email me for a fast response: [email protected]

Default Bump

Let's bump this back up to page one. I've got a couple trade offers, but still looking for something that excites me.

I'd love a small shop or single luthier OM or small jumbo that's nice and responsive for fingerstyle. I'd be happy to put some cash in for the right model.

For people in the US that don't want to ship across borders - I'm in the US sometimes for work. If you don't mind being patient we might be able to work something out! It won't hurt to let me know what you have!

Default Trade offers?

I've got 4 trade offers so far, three of which are very tempting, so this Goodall is most likely going to a new home. None of us are really in a hurry, so I've agreed with the people making the offers that I'm going to keep this one listed for a couple weeks to see what else trickles in before making a final decision.

Any interest in a trade? Even people that aren't interested in shipping to Europe - let me know what you have just for fun. I love meeting people here on the board and exchanging a few messages about potential trades, heck, even hypothical ones!

One more bump before I accept a nice Huss and Dalton OM plus some cash.

Default Now in the US

I'm bumping this one back up becuase I wil be in Canada and the USA for a week starting from December 9. This way we wouldn't have to ship internationally.

I'm looking for a straight sale, but would potentially be interested in something to complement my new Baranik JX

Default Bump

Let's bump this back up. I've had some great trade offers so far, but nothing that really gets me excited.

I'd be happy to talk pricing on a direct sale. Love trade emails too, though. They always leads to learning more about different guitars and meeting nice people. Send me a line! Tell me what you have! let's talk!

Who else out there wants an excellent Goodall TROM?

I'd love to hear about OMs and small jumbos with 1 3/4" or 1 13/16" nuts. Love to see offers from smaller builders!

Default Sound samples

I was asked for some sound samples with a pick. Please excuse my poor playing and the kids in the background... It still gives a good indication of the sound of this great guitar.

Strings are Elixir PB Nanowebs, about 2 weeks old.

Default Keep 'em coming

I'm having lots of fun with trade suggestions, and even almost had a sale in the bag. Too bad the potential buyer's wife stepped in at the last minute!

Would love to hear from more of you - keep the trade offers coming!

Default Last chance?

I'm speaking with the owner of a seriously underpriced Claxton who might want to trade with me.

If you are on the fence, please speak up now or forever play a different guitar!

Default Still available

Deal fell through. Fairly motivated to sell so that I have some cash to buy a different guitar while I'm in the US in a couple of weeks.

Let's make a deal. Trades intersting too.
