"Roreka" (sweet singing)
Kia Ora,
Not sure if I'm actually even allowed to post a link to a slideshow on here, I'm sure the powers that be will edit it if need be, anyway I thought my latest build maybe of some interest. The Roreka (sweet singing) features 100% Native New Zealand timbers, baby paua & kauri leaf rosette, kauri leaf silhouette soundport, ergonomic rounded armrest, a mitred body, and hybrid double X bracing. I designed it with the intention of not compromising on the wonderful tone these timbers yield, but keeping the time consuming inlay work to an absolute minimum yet still hoping to achieving an elegant expensive looking guitar. the specs and link to a slide show are below, what do you guys think? Cheers, Christian.
