Default New Acoustic Amp

Hello, looking for a new powered acoustic amp, I tried many and narrowed the final choice to one of three; the Bose S1 Pro, the Fishman Mini Charge and The JBJ Eon One Compact.

All of these are very, very good indeed but for me, the larger speaker and the many more feature packed options made (for me) the JBL the obvious choice!!

I have played out with it quite a few times now and have to say it is truly excellent; so many adjustable feature options, sound and build quality are superb and of the usual JBL quality.

One VERY important point however, that I cannot believe ALL these excellent manufacturers have missed, is the absolute requirement for remote (foot controlled) reverb on/off switching.

Manufactures.............please take note!!!

The pedal for the Fishman is available. You have to buy it separately.
That’s how things work and mostly always have.

That's always been an issue with any
pa system with efx preloaded.
Which is why none of them are fully
self contained. Our band uses a touchmux mixer. It has a plethora of
efx compression and eq. All of it
is buried in menus. I find it cumbersome
and all of it is shut off
on my guitar ch. I use a helix
stomp . basically shaping my sound
into the flat qsc board. this way
all controls are at my feet.

Did you happen to check out the Boss Acoustic Singer Pro?

What were your thoughts compared to the ones you have narrowed your choice down to?

I like my JBL EON ONE Compact enough that I just ordered a second one which should be with me this Friday. More to come ...

I’m really happy with my Bose S1 Pro accept for the fact that it doesn’t have a master volume control. The only volume controls are for each channel, separately. Pretty surprising, for a Bose product.

SO many great choices these days!
