Default Tai playing a Larrivee mandolin

Haven't been posting that much this summer, but thought I'd share this with you. My 7 year old son played an open mic a week or so ago, and we got a video of it. About 15 minutes before leaving, my son broke an e string on his mandolin (Breedlove). It was a lot easier just to let him use my Larrivee mandolin than try and rush changing strings. I think it sounds pretty good considering the recording source.

My son's been taking lessons once a week for about a year now and has probably played 6 or 7 Open Mics here on the island. At the beginning of August he attended a "Rock Camp" for a week and was so excited that he got to plug in his mandolin to an amp. He's flipping out happy that I just posted a video of him to Youtube. If you like it, leave a comment and make him grin from ear to ear.

I think he sounds pretty good, but that might just be a proud papa's thinking

Thanks
John
