Default Today is our 40th anniversary

I've always called myself lucky, life has been very kind to me. But the luckiest thing that ever happened was riding the bus with this cute Calabrese girl who for some reason decided I was her future husband.

She used to travel to Hawai`i a lot in her job, and in spite of my reluctance she "made" me go with her back in '99. I fell in love with slack key the moment I heard it, and wrote this piece for her a few years later:

I had to take a deep breath, that kind of choked me up. Thanks, I could see and feel your passion for your wife.

Simply beautiful!
Congratulations to you both on this significant milestone, and wishes for many more years filled with all of the things (which actually are not things) that make life worth living

Hi Fran:
Happy belated 40th. Nice pics. All the good vibes you obviously enjoy from music (seen in the pics) really comes through in your playing too.

Cheers,

Sweetly done, Fran.

I love the low light and dramatic shadows of the live video portion.

And the warmth of your smile.

Congratulations, that's really something! Beautiful song, and hope you both had a beautiful day together.

Great pictures, too - love the cool hair in one of the first ones!
