Just got me an Atkin Forty Three ( reliced dreadnought based on a Gibson J45). Not a big fan of relicing (is that a word?) in principle, but the guitar sounds lovely and plays well too. I actually set out to buy a Gibson, but this wiped the showroom floor with the five J45s I tried including the more expensive Gibson vintage Montana. The Atkin neck is narrower than some would prefer, but I believe they will custom a wider one for you and they also do non-relic versions. I was playig a big Takamine, but it's only taken me a couple of days to adjust my playing to the new size.

Played several of the Atkin OMs over the past year or so. I’d place them very much ‘up there’ with Martin, Taylor etc., and they’re noticeably cheaper (at least here in the UK).

I have an Atkin Essential O - a small body spruce/mahogany 14 fretter. Its very nice...except I've realised that I'm not really a small guitar guy

I have not played an Atkin guitar. My only experience of them was when Brooks Williams played at our local folk music club last year in 2019. His Atkin J-43 sounded great, both acoustically and plugged in.

I've never owned one but I've played a few. Pretty much the closest thing to Collings happening here in the UK

I played a couple of 000/OM models before I bought my Lakestone...
Did nothing for me - felt okay, but found the sound very one dimensional - to be honest the Larrivee models I tried sounded a LOT better for a LOT less money. Had I not fallen in love with the Lakestone I'd have taken a Larrivee home much more happily than I would an Atkin Just my take!

Just found these videos which showcases a few of the models and comparing them in different situations.
