Smile Question about AER Compact version 2

I have just purchased a used AER compact version 2.
I noticed the layout wasn't the usual compact 2 layout with the 4 lights in the effects section by the master volume.
Does anyone know if there were 2 versions of the compact 2 . The layout of this one is the same as the version 3 without the 4 lights.
Hope that's not too confusing . Lol

Did you get your answer? I have an AER Compact/2, and mine has those four leds, too... they signify which of the FX patches I'm using... one light is small room reverb/ 2 lights is large hall reverb/ 3 lights is chorus and 4 lights is chorus/reverb...

Hope that helps! Near as I can figure, the biggest difference between the version 2 and 3 is that the /3 version has a bunch of different fx settings... but I find the four options on version 2 perfectly adequate...
