My wife and I help coordinate a 'party' at our church that is an outgrowth of a recovery program we're a part of. It is usually a good time with lots of food, games and music and ends at midnight with a worship service. Likely pretty tame for most folks but that is precisely what most in attendance are looking for on 'amateur night' !

Spending the evening at my step daughter's new house about 20 minutes from my house. It should be a fun, laid back evening.

I quit drinking nearly a decade ago.

I plan to NOT go to jail.

Won't have to dodge roadblocks.

No headache Wed. morning.

However, I'm positive I WON'T be watching network television….

We just stay home because this is one evening that the amateur drinkers are out on the roads. For us, it is a quiet evening and no, we don't watch other people having fun on TV. We are quite content with our own lot.

It'll just be a quiet celebration with my lovely bride and myself at home. I really don't need much else.

Not a plan but we will probably walk down the street to the boat club and hang out for awhile. They will probably have food but we will come home early and make a good meal. It's nice easy liven

We've been invited to a small "jam" session, but it's more like marmalade.
Hope to be home by 10.
They'll all be drinking - I'll be on orange juice and water as usual.

However, we went for a long walk yesterday and stopped off in an ancient pub and I had two halves of what used to be my favourite beer - and I could taste it! That's a big step forward!

We’re having a late dinner out with friends before having a gathering at our house where we will likely play board games. There will be wine and lots of finger food. I plan on taking it easy and I’m going to have the guest room ready just in case.

I'll be home with two cats and my guitars. Since I stopped gigging in 2011, I'm pretty sure I've been in bed asleep when midnight arrived on NYE. Tonight, I plan on continuing that tradition.
