Default Is there a way to use apogee iMic directly with a video program?

Most people are going to garage band then iMovie, but --news flash-- I'm not good enough to sync these two. Hoping someone can recommend a setup with iMic, iPad, and some video program that would allow me to bypass the middle man.

Thanks

Not sure what you are trying to do, but I'll take a shot.

Quicktime allows you to make a recording using your built in iSight camera and an audio source of your choosing.

Open quicktime, select "file/new movie recording."

On the lower right there is a little arrow. If you click it, you can separately select an audio and a video source.

Hopefully I'm understanding what you're trying to do?
