Default Wizard of Oz Medley - Martin OM-18 Authentic

I've always loved Mark Hanson's arrangements. These are a few of my favorites. Over The Yellow Brick Road, If I Only Had a Brain and Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

That is such an amazingly balanced sounding guitar Toby. Every note comes thru with a richness that harmonizes with the other notes with such clarity...what a chorus! Of course your seasoned & excellent technique bring out the best of such a fine instrument, very well done buddy!

So nicely done, Toby....fun stuff to listen to.

Love hearing all the different voicings that people use for Over the Rainbow. It is such a endlessly interpretable song. One neat chord inversion is this: In the first line of the song ("Somewhere over the rainbow") on the second part of the word "rainbow" Tommy Emmanuel uses a Fsus2 chord that is simply mesmerizing (3-X-3-2-1-3). I think Mark Hanson's arrangement is quite lovely and innovative.
