Default Prelude in Cm - Barrios

Hi all

I have been working on this piece for longer than I intended to be - when I first heard it I was transfixed and decided to learn it. Having started to play it I quickly realised that it is enormously challenging to play - I can honestly say that my left hand has never had to work so hard or been so sore! Initially I could work on it for only about 20 mins before I was done, and at times thought I wouldn't ever get it cleanly played.

It's a lovely piece of music and I just love the way it rings out (despite this not being perfect by any means)

I hope you enjoy it and thanks for listening - any feedback, as always, is welcome.

I like it! Sounds like the guitar wants to cry.

Nice work Peter, on a challenging piece.
Yes, classical playing can be a hard, but rewarding, taskmaster!

Nicely done. You play very clean.

I don't know the piece but you played it well enough for me to feel it. Congrats.

Very nice! Worth the effort. I’ve tried it - it’s a challenge.
