The guitar here is a Sobell Steinbeck S - I've played it, it's a monster...

He also uses a newly built Fylde twelve fret on the album.

Whenever I hear Martin playing his Sobell's it just reminds me of how great it can be when a luthier and a player work closely together. Sobells just seem to fit Martin's playing style and technique so well. He sounds fabulous on his other instruments but there is something about Stefan's building approach and Martin's sensibilities that fit together beautifully.
