Absolutely superb, David. Everything about that guitar is just done right. Thanks for sharing this build! Amazing!

OK ... enough already with the photos ... I think I may have gone overboard! I'll post my usual YouTube audio file/slide show thing later today and finish this thread up.

Thanks everyone for popping in on my build thread!!!

Well folks, that's it for this thread. Here's my usual little YouTube audio file/slide show thing. My regular disclaimer definitely applies i.e. don't take anything good, bad or otherwise from the audio ... so much depends on the recording gear, the player (unfortunately me) and the playback hardware.

As they say ... it is what it is.

Thanks so much for taking the time to follow this one folks!

Beautiful David, what a great rendition of "Danny Boy". The guitar sounds magnificent as expected by those of us who have the great fortune to own a Wren.

Sometimes I wish I could possibly justify buying a guitar, cause that is right up my alley...

David, your disclaimer aside ... youtube recordings can still be relative ... and relative to hundreds of others guitars I've listened to virtually over the years ... this guitar practically jumped out of my screen and filled the room: wow, wow, wow!!!

I really like your interesting arrangements and song choices ... but with all due respect, we need to hear the likes of Molly Tuttle, Stephen Wake, and/or Eric Skye take this instrument for a little spin, heck even Bryan Sutton might do it justice ... hahaha

I'm with Tom: "magnificent" was the word that came to my mind as well. The new owner is going to be really blessed!

Thanks for sharing this with us. Bravo and cheers.

John

Another wonderful Wren thread both in looks and sonic beauty.

Thanks for that final pic you posted--I think it's my favorite.

Well done!

What a fantastic build thread. Your pics and videos are great.

David, you should do a guitar calendar!
