Note that the OP asked for two mic inputs... so it does not help.

My Bose S1 is really perfect for me, and could be for you too if you need 3-channels.
I have what Captain Jim recommended above.

Azden.jpg

I also use my beloved Azden FMX-22 2-channel battery-powered field mixer, clipped to my belt.
Made in Japan, it supplies the +48v phantom power to my tiny clip-on DPA condenser mics.
Of course you can turn it off for dynamic mics.

It can mix both my voice and guitar into one channel, freeing up the other channel on the Bose S1 for your other vocalist.
It's also very nice to have the mixer controls at my fingertips when busking instead of having to stop and reach down to the ground - especially to quickly fix feedback.

The sound is crystal clear; now I just learn how to sing.

The mixer's regular price is $309, but Adorama is currently having a 4th of July sale, so it's only $249 - a really great deal!
With $1,000 budget ... $600 for the Bose + $249 for mixer = $849, leaving $251 for taxes/shipping or whatevs.

Thanks for your replies everyone.
Im not sure if it need it to be battery powered anymore. I just want the PA to be very simple. 3 channels, one speaker, natural good sound for both (two) vocals and acoustic maton-guitar.

If I do not need battery powered amplifiers, is the selection for PA/amps then larger/better?

Sorry about my english

Fascinating! I use the Acus OneforStreet, which has fantastic sound quality (honestly the best I've tried, next to various Fishman and AER amps), but not the best battery life. Lasts about 1.5 hours, if I push the volume near max capacity. Have you tried the Elite models next to other brands?

I have a Schertler Roy and an Elite Acoustics D6-8. They both sound absolutely fantastic. The Roy is a lot more powerful and you can hear that in the bass even at lower volumes. Aside from that they sound remarkably similar. When I first got the D6-8 it was only 40 watts with an SLA battery (Sealed Lead Acid, like the Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge). It wasn't quite powerful enough for many gigs, but I had it upgraded to the mark 2 specs and now it is fantastic! My D6-8 sounds way better than my friend's AER Compact 60. It's not even close.

Default Laney 4x4 + sub?

Since the Laney AH4x4 do have a sub-output, could it be a good choice to choose that amp together with at sub? Then I have the choice of using a sub or not.
The Laney AH4x4 is also almost 1/3 of the price of Elite Acoustics D6-8 MKII (and other more powerful speakers).

It works: I tried. Unfortunately I deleted the soundcloud demo.

I did not try the D6-8 but it has the reputation of monitor speaker audio quality. The Laney sounds amazing for its price and sound but it is not a monitor speaker. Also I have the EAE stompmix 4 and I can tell they make great products.

With a sub you won't get WAY louder than without but will get deep bass and the ability to play drums & bass as backing tracks for example.

I have a Maton EBG 808TE Guitar. Do you think the sound from the guitar would be even better with at sub connected to the Laney AH4x4? Or wouldnt a sub be necessary with only a guitar and vocal?
