Default Some bottleneck slide on classical guitar...seriously...

Not my usual DADGAD (this is in Open D, DADf#AD), but proof that pretty much anything is possible with a great guitar....

I was having some fun that day, let me tell you...

Larry, that was a fun listen. But you do know only Glass slides are appropriate on a nylon strung guitar right?

Mississippi Blind Boy Segovia

Very, very cool!

But now you have to balance it up with some 'Concierto de Aranjuez' by Rodrigo on a Dobro steel please.

Your post is freakin' hilarious...literally a LOL moment!

Thank you.

"Mississippi Blind Boy Segovia" indeed!

...and it's too bad I don't own a resonator...!

No excuse Larry.
I'm sure there's a crossroad somewhere nearby where you can trade your soul for one.

I think I saw that on your FB page. Very cool indeed. Should we now call you Blind Boy Pattis?

Heh, heh...it was posted on FB as a live-feed, as I was giddy (can you tell) with delight when I tried the bottleneck for the first time...literally a minute or two before the video was taken...and I finally got around to uploading to YouTube.

*You* can call me whatever you'd like, but I had better learn some more slide pieces if it's going to be "blind boy" anything...!

Thanks to all for the kind words...

I enjoyed that Larry. What really entered my mind was remembering listening to Peter Lang.

Indeed...and that's where I got my rendition of Steel Guitar Rag, for sure.

Lang was/is one of my formative heroes, and in a big way.
