Interesting - 2 pickups? I like the battery box. Beats replacing batteries inside the body! The only guitar I have with an inside battery is a Voyage-Air. Fold the neck and replace the battery.

Easy to deal with the battery in the offset soundhole Emeralds - in a bag, just towards the lower bout from the soundhole.
