Default Gypsy Jazz guitars

Do we have any gypsy jazz guitar fans here?

Count me as one. I love the look, sound, and feel. I owned a Dell Arte that I sold for some reason or another, and even though I have a wonderful acoustic archtop, I couldn't shake the thought that I needed a Selmer-style guitar to compliment it.

To that end, I just bought a used Dupont Nomade that was listed on this forum, and am now anxiously awaiting another NGD. I'll post some pictures and thoughts once it arrives. In the mean-time, let's hear from the GJ fans and see some photos of these guitars that I've always considered to be the European counterparts to our beloved archtops

I have been Gypsy Jazz fan since about 1977 when my uncle who was in Europe during WW2 gave me all his Django Reinhardt LP's.

Maccaferri-style guitars are not really archtops (rather domed flattops), but interesting guitars nonetheless.

I have a Michael Dunn "petit bouche" Django-style guitar. It has a 27" scale, cypress back and sides, and is an exceptionally well made instrument. Michael is a well-known Canadian guitar builder and I would recommend his instruments to all interested in this style of instrument.
