Opinions concerning Forshage archtops
I am interested to learn more about the archtops made by an Austin luthier named Chris Forshage. He looks to have a good reputation for quality work at more than reasonable prices, especially for his ergonomic Klein-like headless electrics. I am however primarily interested in knowing more about anyone's experiences with his archtops.
Does anyone here have any experience playing or owning a Forshage archtop? I would be obliged for any opinions, comments etc on them. Thanks in advance. AG |

Not familiar with this builder.
You might try asking at the Jazz Guitar forum; http://www.jazzguitar.be/forum/ I believe there is one member there who owns a Forshage.

If looking for an archtop, you may want to look at Eastman as a good choice for less expensive models. If looking a bit more upscale, there are some excellent builders who, in addition to their "upper end" models, offer mid-price (for archtops) guitars, like Mark Campellone; http://www.campelloneguitars.com/ Bill Comins; http://www.cominsguitars.com/ Jim Triggs; http://www.triggsguitars.com/guitar.shtml Ted Megas; http://www.megasguitars.com/ Brad Nickerson; http://www.nickersonguitars.com/ Robert Benedetto's company; http://www.benedettoguitars.com/# ...........to name a few.
