Default Happy “Everything You Think Is Wrong” day!

Nope. Not kidding. “Everything You Think Is Wrong” day is a thing…and March 15th is the day.

Who the heck makes up these “holidays” anyway?

Have a great day, in any case.
😎

Today is the Ides of March.

People are really missing out on the true meaning, too. It's not about stabbing. It's about coming together to stab in groups.

It is weird. This 'Any-crap-you-can-think-of' Day routine isn't funny, charming, or zanily absurd; it's just plain stupid. Lord only knows what the people involved are trying to achieve through it.

Probably not that different than what AGF “achieves”: provides an opportunity for people to talk about something other than themselves without stirring anxiety and (optimally) without fomenting conflict. It might even provide a context for connecting with others in a way that is friendly, and somewhat uplifting, even if it is brief and transient.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What do I think is wrong today?
Well, the weather pretty much sucks where I am. And my dog is sick. And I have a cracked tooth. And a friend just got some bad news about a tumor they removed a couple of weeks ago.
Maybe its better not to think so much….
Ohh…and consult the quote below for another related thought.
Sorry about all the bad news, and good luck with it.
Sounds like a country blues waiting to be written, though…lemonade?
I had a colleague who, whenever new technology would come out, would announce loudly, "Everything you've ever known about _____ is now wrong!" I got tired of it pretty quickly.
News flash! Update! Apparently today, the day after “Everything You Know Is Wrong” day, is designated “Everything You Do Is Right” day.
And yes, this is getting downright annoying.
For those wondering why I am reporting these things, it’s a result of being on Eddie Haddad’s Guitar Mastery emailing list, and these “day” announcements are being used as a pretext to send me daily emails. No offense, Eddie, but don’t be surprised if I unsubscribe.
Dang.
