NGD! Taylor Walnut Custom Grand Symphony --- deja vu !!

Your spruce top walnut sounds great. I played a J-15 at a GC once and it had some issues with the fretboard and action, so I passed. Didn't trust them to do the work correctly and wasn't convinced it was an easy fix.

I do have a Taylor Jumbo with walnut top, back, and sides. My walnut Jumbo sounds more subdued, also probably due to the fact that I fingerpick using my nails as picks. Actually sounds somewhat like a arch-top jazz instrument, so I have no complaints. I use Elixir Mediums on it.

Always been interested in a spruce over walnut, but I am a bit fussy about guitars and I really don't get out much since the pandemic started.

Anyway yours sounds like you have a winner there. Enjoy.

Don
