Jackson Browne Gibson Signature Model 1 Custom Shop
Hello, I'm based in the UK and I'm very interested in this guitar in particular. Can anyone provide any more feedback, and/or reviews?

Yeah, when you play any song on this model they always sound depressed and melancholy...

Just a personal opinion and I suck at describing sound. But the JB Model 1 (without electronics) is one of the few Bozeman-made guitars I am still second guessing myself about not having snagged when they were available (the others being an 1990s AJ35 and one of the 2013 Banner reissues). I swear though if there is a grand piano of six strings the JB model is it. The 1.8" nut was also very attractive although the neck depth was a bit shallow for my taste.
But a Roy Smeck it is not nor was it meant to be a copy of one. Those guitars had a raw power to them which you do not hear in the JB or in the recent takes on the Smeck no matter what the body wood might be. Not a good or a bad thing - just different. So in the end I went with a Fairbanks F30 which I felt did a better job of capturing the sound of the 1930s guitars. That said, I would not rule out a used JB being brought home one of these days. Might just come down to one of those being in the right place at the right time things.
