My thumb always touch the string upon the one I was picking
My thumb is big and it always touch the string upon the one I was picking(the back of my thumb touch the string upon one I was playing and sometimes it will mute the note which the string's ringing), especially play quick songs like ragtime or blues, is that matters? If it is, how can I get rid of it. Thank you guys.

Try angling your wrist a tad more forward so your thumb is less parallel to the strings and more at a slight angle (mine is at about 35 degrees or so).

Use a thumb pick.

I dunno, you're the one who asked the question in the first place. Only you can decide if it matters to you or not.

Slow it down, see where your mistake is. Why is your thumb not in the proper position ? Are you plucking too hard, almost digging the thumb into the string? I have the same problem when I try to force the string too hard, trying to get the bass to pop more, but it's bad technique. Practice deliberately playing softer and see if it still happens. Look at the knuckle of your index finger, where is it pointing? It shouldn't be pointing upward.

Sounds to me like you're choking the pick too close to its end - your thumb size really shouldn't matter. Also, it does seem like an angle issue, where you're thumb is too close to the strings, rather than hovering above them on a downstroke.
