Closing up a box.

Marking the top brace pockets with a dental probe.

Got to get the label in...

Then the scavenger clamps have to eat their fill.

Then we trim up the top to the sides and take a look.

Pretty good so far. Thanks for watching!

Oh my. It’s an Oreo guitar. Makes me want a cookies and cream milkshake. Also, it makes me want this guitar.

Oh man, now you got me craving cookies. Also, Jeff’s probably not giving up this guitar...but I still have that Oregon Myrtle you liked so well (and plenty more wood ).

Thanks jojo, it's pleasing to know we can inspire on more than one level!

Well, it is a rather compact guitar, so it will be easy to travel with. And you'll want to show it off, yes?

Steve

Thanks Justonwo! Here’s some pics of neck and fretboard work.

Gluing up the laminated neck: mahogany, wenge, and maple.

And then all cleaned up:

Routing a fretboard for purfling.

Gluing on that little black/white line.

Sanding a radius into the fretboard.

Thanks for following.
