Default Osthoff ~ Some shots from the shop

As usual, I will start this post with, It has been a really long time since I have posted anything. I can assure you I have been busy in the shop, although I would always like to be a bit more productive. Anyway, I intend to give a couple of updates along with showing a little of my recent work.

Guitar looks amazing. I had the opportunity to play one of your guitars last year at a AGF gathering and it was an amazing experience.

Out of curiosity, did you take the photos. How do you get the black background and no light reflecting off of the guitar.

Mbroady, thanks for the comments. As far as the pictures, I am sort of a hack when it comes to photos, but I will answer your questions. I do have some diffused lights, and I do a lot of indirect lighting. I keep the light quite low and open the aperture up which can cause some depth of field issues. It is good that the black stays dark, as backdrop is a magnet for cat fur, and dust bunnies. I spend a bit of time looking through the viewfinder to see if I have reflections and really try to avoid post-processing.

I will try to get some shots of more recent work, and some in-progress stuff up here soon.
