Default Introducing the Doerr Standard

I am excited to announce my new Doerr Standard. For the last few years I have been building my Signature models exclusively. My Signature includes a lot of Signature features that you would only see on a Doerr guitar such as beveled binding and Crescent Channel backplate. During the last couple years I had many people call and ask if I offer a guitar that is all about sound, playability with less time consuming details at a lower price point. So I set out to make a guitar that has less time consuming details but at the same time doesn't compromise the Doerr standard of quality.

The Doerr Standard focus is on sound, playability and comfort without compromising the overall look of Doerr Guitars. Every model comes with the Ryan-style bevel for comfort, every top is voiced to players specs, and the action is set up for maximum playabilty. All for a great price. I have a few slots open to build the new Doerr Standard before I head out to the Healdsburg show in August. If interested call or email. Check out the new Doerr Standard!

That's great, Tom! Congrats on the Standard line. I think they're going to be really popular.

Hope you're doing well.

Kindly,
Danny

I was lucky enough to play two of these yesterday at Tom's shop and they were "simply elegant" and the were incredibly consistent in their tone. If you are thinking about a custom guitar in this price range, it would be very hard to go wrong.....

I'm excited to have ordered one of these new Standard models from Tom. I'm looking forward to getting it soon. I've played one of Tom's Legacy guitars and it was amazing 2nd to none that I've played. I've owned and played some great ones.

Awesome guitars from an awesome builder and awesome guy! My Doerr Solace Select (Italian Spruce/Brazilian Back and Sides, continuous bevel, body wedge) is one of the best guitars I've ever played. Check out the pix in the Emporium. At this price point and all the features, these guitars may be the best value in guitars bar none.

There are so many guitars and builders out there and I'm really really picky when it comes to tone and playability and quality so when I come across something I really like (rare), it's hard to contain the enthusiasm.

Tom ... if I didn't already build guitars, I would have to start ... the inspiration being the way you handle your rear peghead veneer. That kind of attention to detail and creativity is absolutely brilliant as far as I'm concerned!!!
