I only ordered mine a month ago but curious; does Emerald give you some interim status without prompts or are you pinging them? thanks

I didn’t get any updates for either of my two, until they were close to shipping. However, when I did ask, status was provided quickly and cheerfully.

No, I didn't get any status reports but I was going to text them the end of February if I hadn't heard anything. But, I got a call on February 17th. So, their estimate was spot on.

I really had a lot of time to play it yet. But my initial impression is good and I'm happy so far. Emerald seems to be a first class operation from ordering, packaging, shipping and the guitar is beautiful! I wish I could post pictures but I'm not a Charter member.
