Yep, same thoughts from me!

I'm guessing the asymmetry allows Bryan to tweak the top's sound the way he wants it (actually I'm extrapolating from Mike Baranik telling me how he uses asymmetrical bracing).

Love that rosette too!

More progress to report. Love the pure creaminess of the spruce top.

You are right about that top. Engelmann, or something else?

I'll ask him. I gave him free reign to pick the specific spruce species.

The box is closed. These pictures show the beautiful proportions and the size / shape of the bevel. I love the way the bevel (also BRW) flows from the side to the front with similar grain. The spruce is a very tight grained Italian.

Almost ready for finishing. Note the fan frets.

On the home stretch. Delivery maybe by the end of December. The Brazilian is a very warm brown. Love it.

Bridge placement is complete. Curing and final prep left. Getting anxious now. I chose a pinless bridge. I have always liked these because of the simplicity.

The final glam shots.

I really don't know what to expect from this instrument. I will have it to play next week. I am looking forward to taking her up to speed.

My goodness that looks good all put together. An especially fine set of BRW.

Looking forward to your next report.

You will know soon.... Brian makes a fine guitar. I have sampled a few of his Brazilian RW guitars at luthier exhibitions over the past few years (congratulations).
