Need a builder for under $2000
Hi,
I'm considering a custom build. Does anyone know of one for under $2000? Seems unlikely, I'm just curious. Thanks.

A lot of newer builders will build one around that price for their first few. I think my current build will cost about $1500 and I have another underway that will probably be $2000. Im sure there are others around that price. I know over on the Official Luthiers Forum the other day forum member meddling fool said he has a line of $999 models. So you can find one if you look. Good luck on your search.

if you are talking about an absolute bare bones guitar (no cutaway, abalone appointments, "standard" woods etc) David Webber is just above that after dealer discount.
