Default Build thread: Gwaltney 000-13 Carpathian/Cocobolo - new pics w/ binding on body

Greg Gwaltney sent me some more pictures today, now that he has the binding on the body of the 000-13 he's building for me. I thought I'd share them in a new thread, rather than continuing the previous one.

The guitar has a Carpathian Spruce top, Cocobolo back and sides, and Macassar Ebony binding. The rosette is Ziricote, with a Cocobolo center ring. Your eyes do not deceive you: the body is wedge-shaped, being thinner on the bass side and thicker on the treble side. This is an ergonomic design, intended to be more comfortable for the player's right arm.

Here are the latest pics:

Very nice grain lines on the Carpathian, Jim.

On another note: Just noticed how cheap you let your other Gwaltney's go.
