Default Cable management for Soundhole pickup?

Does anybody know of (or can suggest) a cable management solution for a soundhole pickup with an external cable?

On one of my guitars I want to use a DiMarzio Black Angel in this manner, but when I gig I want the cable to be nicely out of the way and unobtrusive.

In my head the cable will terminate in a female jack socket that somehow secures itself to the endpin. I can then plug in a standard guitar cable to take to the preamp.

I don't want the female socket / cable plug to bang or rub against the guitar (keen to avoid any damage to the guitar finish, plus it would be noisy) - but I want to keep everything as neat as possible.

Thanks.

Other than a permanent install and replacing the end pin with a 1/4 jack endpin with cable inside the guitar body.

You might just consider doing what I do, I use the strap on the end pin to hold the cable in place and out of the way, which from that point makes it like any other cable coming from the endpin .

I take the caple fairly taught down and over the bottom waist curve of the guitar body, then up and across the back of the guitar to the endpin and come up and loop over the top of the endpin, and then down to preamp. Then the guitar strap holds the cable tension from the soundhole to the endpin.

Thanks - I already have two other pickups that are using the end pin jack, so no room there! And I don't want to add another jack socket.

If I'm playing sat on a stool, which I often do, I don't necessarily use a strap, so I was wondering if there is a system out there with some sort of loop attachemnt etc. that goes over the endpin and secures the cable??

Oh, I use a strap standing or sitting but if you don't then in that case I don't know of anything .

If you really want to make it permanent, you could consider a small soundhole mounted slide switch to select between your soundhole pickup or one of the existing ones, thereby sharing one of the endpin jack connections between two pickups.

Thanks James - but I actually wanted it in addition to the other pickups....!

I found this cable, I think it might do the job:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Strap-Butto...e/221519021138

If the quality of the cable isn't good enough, I'm hoping I can still salvage the end pin mount piece.
