Default WTT/WTS Minty ‘15 Taylor 914c for ‘50’s Gibson LG-2

I bought the 914c (cutaway, no electronics) new and it just doesn’t get the attention it deserves. It’s spent most of its life in a properly humidified case and has never left my home. If it had a “new” tag on it in a store, you’d be hard pressed to haggle with them on its condition. I included a couple of pics, but happy to send more detailed pics via email to those interested. All specs standard of 914’s.

I’m really smitten by a ‘57 LG-3 I played today, but it had a few structural issues that I’m not comfortable with. Would love to find a ‘50’s LG-2 that is structurally sound and work out a trade. Would consider other similar small bodied vintage acoustics as well. Simply in love with that vintage tone....https://youtu.be/YcHL0kUFPhw

Sale price: now $XXXX, shipped CONUS

Thanks for looking!

Default Price drop bump

New price - $XXXX. The 914 is by far the most "loaded" guitar I've played under $5k....if it were a 912 there's no way I'd let it go..

I’ve played a dozen or so of them and found little to no variation across the 9xx series Taylor’s tone-wise. (I’d put the high end Taylor’s up against Collings in terms of build consistency) Just an exceptionally high build quality and consistency across the line. It’s definitely “brighter” than my Martins, but I’m really liking the Retros I put on it recently.
