Default What kind of guitar is this?

I'm new to the forum and I'm not sure if this threads in the right place. I've had this acoustic for a long time and it use to be my grandmothers. I'm looking at any information on who manufactured this guitar. Or even the value of it (not looking to sell it). I've been told it is a "cowboy" guitar but I've never seen it on any of those sights. So I'm still clueless a to who the guitar luthiers were.

Looks like something homemade to me. I wouldn't think there's any value in it, other than sentimental value. The art work is nice though.

In person you can see that the headstock use to say something but it is so worn off that I can make out a single letter. Also it seems well enough built and makes me skeptical that its a "homemade" guitar. I've read that harmony use to design cowboy guitars for sears from the 30s-50s. But I've never seen this one on any websites. I should also mention that it use to have a tailpiece styled bridge.

Somebody's inexpensive catalog guitar. It may or may not be made in the USA. I used to see things like this all the time when I was a kid.
