Thanks for that link. Not a songwriter myself, but kind of a fan. He was born here in Duluth and moved to Hibbing at age 7.

Thanks. I had an idea he and Roger Maris went to high school in Hibbing at the same time, but it turns out they didn't. Maris still holds the American League record for home runs in a season.

In the 2nd to last paragraph of Dylan's autobiography, Chronicles, Volume One:

"...I did know that Roger Maris who was with the Yankees was in the process of breaking Babe Ruth's home-run record and that meant something. Maris was from Hibbing, Minnesota, of all places. Of course, I never heard of him there, nobody did... On some level I guess I took pride in being from the same town..."

....purdy good read....I love Dylan’s quirky and obtuse nature....mainly because it’s mixed with plain and simple observations and anecdotes....a walking contradiction of sorts....my kind of person..
