This is the best unit I’ve ever use for acoustic guitar (Peter Honore's video really shows that). Here’s the problem for me specifically: I play a Taylor 618e v2 which acoustically sounds amazing, but, the Expression 2 system in the big 618e doesn’t sound all that great. It sounds ok, but it’s still somewhat metallic. This is not the T-Rex‘s fault, it's the specific guitar. I actually found reviews that loved the guitar but said the Expresson 2 system in the big Grand orchestra isn't so hot, and that's exactly what I found. I've plugged in smaller guitars into the T-Rex that sound EXCELLENT through the Soulmate, even a GS Mini. So that's why I'm selling it. Since I play in a small church and don’t really move, I decided to go with a large diaphragm condenser mic into the sound system. I don't use a looper or chorus so the T-Rex is overkill. This T. Rex is an amazing unit and it needs to go to a good home. Save 150 bucks and get yourself one that’s basically brand new.
