Tonedexter effect loop - kill dry
Hello all
I was wondering if someone could help with experience of the effect loop on tonedexter My main question is about the effects loop. I connect an eventide timefactor and space to the loop, but when I select kill dry on the pedals it kills the dry signal entirely to the amp. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Ideally I’d like to use the kill dry function and run effects at 100% wet to blend with tonedexter signal. If I connect to the effect loop on the amp itself the killdry works as I’d expect. My other question is on firmware. I’m on v1.33 and have not updated simply because I like the sound as it is. I’m tempted to go to v 1.4 to enhance the tuner but am wary of going further as the idea of a brighter wave map doesn’t appeal to me as I’m happy with it already. Having said this, if I did update to later versions, is it simple to reinstall v1.33 if I wanted to? Many thanks |

One thing to know is that upgrading to a later version won't change any of your existing Maps, it only affects newly created ones. You can always revert if you don't like the new features for some reason.

Thanks for getting back to me. As it’s easy to revert I’ll give the newer versions a go. Can you help on the fx loop question? I’m thinking it must be a serial loop rather than parallel? |

Yes, the effects loop is serial, so whatever wet/dry mixing you require will need to be done in the effect pedal itself.

Fabulous product by the way, I find it indispensable. You must be very proud of your invention! I know I would be. Cheers |
