Default Price for a CA cargo?

I am seeing things from 650 old listings on reverb all the way through 2k current listing.

Main reason I'm asking is I found one for 1249 USD asking at a local shop that seems in great condition and I really enjoyed playing it.

But have no idea what a fair price is.

Thanks.

Ha! Thanks I hadn't check cl as I didn't figure I'd find one there. Turns out that's local to me as well

I have no idea what a Cargo sells for these days, but do recall that there was a significant price increase after Peavey took over in 2010. I paid $750 for mine new in ‘08. It’s now the only CF guitar I own, can’t see myself ever selling it.

I quite enjoyed the taste I had when playing it and that was with really dead strings. They seem like a very nice instrument.

For me, it’s been a great travel and occasional couch guitar. Some don’t like its diminutive size, but I adapt to it no problem. It’s a keeper.

Good guitars

Mine has not only become my favorite travel guitar but one I have no problem cruising around with in the trunk of my car should a few moments of practice time appear.

I also find the short scale good for practicing jazz chord type stretches.

The nice bass response was a good surprise as well.
