Well, I guess we'll see if the OP continues to post and is sincere in his question or not. After seeing the response to his first effort to get this answered I
can understand why it would take him years to try again. Actually, it makes me question who the trolls really are in all of this!

Obviously, same question but different guitars since the 2011 thread pertained to a 2003 purchase while the most recent thread pertains to a 1999 purchase.

Another shop to consider would be Brown Guitars in Hill Valley. Emmett does excellent, timeless work.

Or more likely the OP does not have his dates straight.

Well we can only make an assumption of the poster's motives. Maybe he thought three years would have weeded out some of the wisecrack remarks? Who knows?

If the OP were serious, maybe he could consider a compromise by having the sides cut down to a more comfortable thickness, with a new back made

In a serious discussion I would most likely agree with you.

But in this case here I think the guitar is already in Hill Valley, California.

Hey guys, thanks so much for your replies, okay, let me clarify something. I almost forgot I had same question posted years ago until Mark post the link again.

I am not familiar with forum and years ago I thought I would get notified by email if there's any response to the post, but I guess I didn't check the "notify by email" little box. So I thought no one responded.

I didn't know have to dissemble the whole guitar including the bracings, I thought the work would be less complicated! But sure I learned much from all the inputs from you guys.

The timeline thing...ahhh....I guess I got the time wrong, as this is my first "serious" guitar that I acquired when made up my mind to learn guitar seriously but it was a long time ago, I guess it's something between 12 to 15 years ago.

With all the inputs, I will seriously reconsider what I should do with my guitar, I really don't wanna make you guys misunderstand it's a troll thread.

And all the helps been posted on the same-old-question thread, are deeply appreciated, it's not I don't care to reply, it's just I thought no one reply to my thread.

Anyway, thanks so much guys, you guys are always been helpful!
