I just love what you and the other luthiers observe, Steve!

Yes, we are as impressionable as other sorts. While a guitarist might suffer from GAS (and I say “Good” about that!) the luthier has at least the dual problem of WAS (wood acquisition syndrome) and then TAS (tool acquisition syndrome). The only known “natural” cure is bankruptcy. So yes, pretty tools can turn my head—guilty as charged.

Looking good Sam! Has Michel started carving the neck for your cross-over?

Good question. I'll ask.

Love your choices—nylon string with a slotted headstock and a cutaway. Have you considered electronics with a barn door?
Coming along nicely! That rosette is a jewel. Can’t wait to see the whole together! |

LOL, that list is inspiration!! I find it funny that the guys who are unhappy with most guitars are the ones who have the strongest opinions.

Looking good Sam! It won't be long now until this cross-over beauty will be on it's way to you.

En route. Hopefully doesn't get hung up in customs too long. UPS promised today, which didn't happen. They're now promising Monday. I'm starting to believe politicians more than UPS.
