You know I meant they didn’t bring the W, not TB by himself had a bad day. Yeah he/offense team did their job, but Foles ate right through the Pats defense. at the end of the day, stats don’t win games, points do.

Shouldn’t have been as close as it was. Many wrinkles that need to be ironed out.

Pats are always rusty the first game of their season.
I'll take the win though.

Ugly win for my Jags, Fornette out with hamstring, but I'll take the W. Our defense rocks, but if were gonna beat the Pats next week (rematch of AFC Champ game) our offense, particularly our QB Blake Bortles will have bring his game waaay up. I don't see it tho, he just does not have it; plus our O-line played poorly too...if Titans loose to Fins today it will be Jags with only win in AFC South in week one.

My "guys" are squaring off against the Bears tonight. Beer's in the fridge, waiting on game time.

They did lose the first game last season. Main thing everyone stayed healthy. I already have friends telling me they paid the refs because of that Gronk catch. Every season always get the haters crying.

Yup, the haters are coming out early this season.
They just can’t stand it when the Pats win.

What a game that was. From a blowout to Rodgers doing what he does when it’s crunch time. Feel bad for Bears fans.

Actually the Pats played very solid. Not many penalties and the D played a lot better than most of last year. This is probably the weakest the Pat's O will be the entire season without all their running backs or Edelman.

If it wasn't for that stupid punt muff, it wouldn't have even had the appearance of being close.

And no, as a Pats fan, the Gronk catch wasn't a catch, but that sack in the endzone was most definitely a safety against the Texans that wasn't called either. That would have puts the Texans in a huge early hole that might have snowballed. Those two calls offset one another.

Oh I agree it wasn’t a completion. The mistake was with the Texans coach for not calling a timeout even though they had 3 available and let Brady snap the ball.

Oh and they played ok, but it was the Texans, not exactly a top team. Too many turnovers IMO.
